CEREMONY PACKAGES
What actually happens in a wedding ceremony?
Want to know the best (worst) kept secret in town? Not only are the legal bits surprisingly simple, we also have complete creative freedom to design the ceremony of your dreams.
One of the biggest misconceptions about weddings is that ceremonies have to be formal and go for about 10,000 years. And hey, if you're into endurance theatre, we can explore that. But the reality is most ceremonies run for just 20–30 minutes.
My ceremonies aren't formal. They're personal, fun, engaging, and designed to set the tone for everything that follows.
Because why should the moment we're all here for feel disconnected from the rest of your wedding day? The energy created during your ceremony carries right through into the celebrations that follow.
So…whether you're getting married in Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, your own backyard or elsewhere in Victoria, there's a ceremony package to suit your day.
The Full Works
*MOST POPULAR* $1,400 (including gst)
This ceremony offers a versatile blend for couples seeking a personalised love story in addition to writing your own vows, including a ring exchange, the ‘I do’s’ — all of the fun, familiar things (which are optional).
This package is popular for a reason. It gives me time to sit down with the two of you and hear your unique love story. This may sound confronting, but rest assured, I keep it fun, relaxed and informal as we chat over a coffee or wine. I understand every couple is different and our first chat always gives me a sense on the best way to approach your ceremony journey.
Most importantly, as your Melbourne marriage celebrant, I want your ceremony to feel like you in every possible way. This package includes:
A thoughtfully crafted love story and ceremony tailored to who you are as a couple.
A coffee or wine date to plan your ceremony and chat all things love.
A handy ceremony guide, a fun questionnaire about your relationship and some super scintillating legal forms which I’ll supply, oversee and submit.
The use of my slick PA system which includes bluetooth and a wireless mic.
Vow writing examples + the option of one-on-one writing sessions to help get you started.
Music: Ceremony entrance & exit playlist.
A commemorative marriage certificate + the lodging of all legal paperwork through Births, Deaths and Marriages to register you as a married couple.
Unlimited communication in between our catch ups.
An all-round great gal with a wealth of knowledge, who genuinely cares about creating a ceremony that feels like you.
Beautifully Understated
From $1,000 (inc. GST)
For those who want a genuine yet streamlined ceremony, this package is ideal.
It’s perfect for couples who’d love a close family member or bestie to step in as their “unofficial celebrant” — aka The SideCar Ceremony.
It also suits those wanting to celebrate their love without the legal paperwork.
There are plenty of ways we can tailor this option to suit your vibe — simply get in touch and we can chat about the endless possibilities!
Legals Only
$650 (inc. GST)
If the spotlight isn’t for you, a simple legals-only ceremony with two witnesses can still create an intimate, romantic vibe.
The beauty of a legals-only ceremony means we can be creative with your location without the added cost of a permit or venue hire - from a tranquil garden, to your favourite bar, or simply sipping coffee in your lounge - your choices are endless.
It’s also an ideal option for couples who are having their wedding overseas but want to legalise their marriage in Australia first.
Fun note — if you’re keeping this your little secret, I can line up two witnesses for you.
Get creative!
Regardless of the option you choose, we can be as innovative as you like.
As an actor with a background in character comedy, sketch and improv, I am willing to go above and beyond if we want to take things to the next level. I’ve been Moira Rose from Schitts Creek, issued vodka shots before the first kiss, and am still waiting for someone to request I abseil into the ceremony.
Will that cost extra? Yeah, my insurance isn’t great…but I’m here for it.
